* Who can sell water bottles during intermission as a fundraiser in the Commons???
* With the over 50+ clubs and teams that exist at the Smithtown HS Western Campus we have an opportunity to unify and participate in an event that will not only provide great entertainment value, but will also provide us with a fundraising source for the charities we are looking to promote this year. This year we are looking to unite the teams and clubs to help fundraise for a music event that will support, The Marty Lyons Foundation, Dylan’s House Project, and various school improvement initiatives/beautification projects we hope to complete this year. On Thursday November 19th we will be holding a “Ultimate Rock Tribute” concert which will spotlight the top Long Island tribute band singers and will include; Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, and Journey. To make it affordable for everyone, tickets for this concert will sold for only $10 in advance and $12 at the door.What are we asking for teams and clubs to do? We are simply asking clubs and teams to sell between 15-25+ tickets (per club/team).
*As an incentive to clubs and teams who wish to fundraise for their own cause(s), we are also suggesting that we hold a “Chinese Auction” during the event in which a portion of the proceeds from your donated (auctioned) items can be given back to each club/team. Teams/Clubs would be responsible for getting the items that could be auctioned off at the end of the show.Given the ticket price and the amount of entertainment that this show will provide, we would hope that we can have a close to a sell out audience and that all fundraising done by clubs/teams will be a huge success.We are asking student representatives/captains from each club/team to pick up either tickets to sell or a ticket sales envelop(no physical tickets included) which can be used.
