MEETING # 9: Wed. Nov. 18, 2009

* EVERYONE MUST STOP BY THE COMPUTER TODAY TO CHECK/UPDATE EMAIL ADDRESSES!!!
* We only have ~1/4 of your email addresses...
* In order to be a "member" of this club, you need to minimally provide your contact information.

(2) Junior/Senior Sports Day
* We hope those of you who came had fun!
* Thank you to everyone who sold shirts and participated in the events.
* However, some people signed up for shifts and did not show up and/or show up on time.
* In addition, some council members did NOT buy a shirt, or waited until the last minute to buy a shirt, or DIDN'T PARTICIPATE IN ANY ASPECT OF JSSD.
---> You as members of class council need to be LEADERS, demonstrate school spirit, and set a positive example for the rest of your classmates!!!!
* Unfortunately, there was relatively low student turnout compared to previous years... and we actually net LOST money on this event.
* Treasurer (Elissa) needs to sign deposit form.
* Many T-shirts are still remaining (sell for $10 each now) and many water bottles remain (sell at rock concert tomorrow??)

(3) The Catalog Fundraiser
* order forms were due this past Monday Nov. 16
* so just a reminder that you all are responsible for distributing your sales to the people you sold to when shipments arrive.
* The only participants were: ______________________________________
* Meanwhile, we distributed ~50 catelogs... why was there such low participation with this activity?

(4) ROCK CONCERT TOMORROW.
* HS Western Campus - Team/Club Unification Project 2010
* Ultimate Rock Tribute Concert Tickets - $12 at door, Thurs. Nov 19, Doors 6:30, Show 7 PM, bring your reciept ---> actual tickets provided upon arrival ("will call" list)
* Can anyone sell extra water bottles for $1 at intermission? ________________________

(5) Next meeting Wed. Dec 2.
* There will not be a meeting next week as it is the day before Thanksgiving.
* So, everyone have a happy Thanksgiving and break!
